About Us Rope Skipping

Nagpur Rope Skipping Association – A Section-8 Registered Company”* is a joint venture by Saving Dreamz Foundation and Nagpur Book Club.

Nagpur Rope Skipping Association is affiliated by Rope Skipping Federation Of India and Haushi Rope Skipping Association of Maharashtra and affiliated and recognised with various organisations such as Fit India Movement, World Heart Federation, SGF India, Vidya Bharti, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Jump Rope Association, Delhi, Association of Indian Universities, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, World Rope Skipping Federation, etc.

The motto behind this initiative is to reach maximum children, especially those who cannot afford sports that require special diet, costly kits and expensive coaching at big infrastructure.

In this view, we aim to re-introduce the game which each one of us must have had played in childhood but with a twist. Gladly, this game has been approved by Government of India and one can become a National or International player.

The health benefits obtain from a small amount of cardiovascular exercise each week is well established. Moderate to low intensity activities done as little as 30 minutes a day can bring benefits. Such activities include walking, gardening, housework, and stair climbing.

More vigorous aerobic exercise such as running, swimming, cycling and skipping done for a minimum of 30 minutes at least 3 times a week are much more beneficial for improving the fitness of the heart and lungs.

Studies show this type of exercise will help reduce the risk of heart disease, lowering blood pressure and cholesterol levels. Exercise also reduces the risk of non-insulin dependent diabetes, colon cancer, depression and anxiety. As well as help you to reach and maintain a healthy weight
